The Fiserv DNA integration includes several outbound (synchronous) runtime connectors. Backbase configures each connector in its own values.yaml file. For the environment details you send to Backbase, see Get started.

Configuration properties

Values to obtain from Fiserv DNA

Obtain the following values from Fiserv DNA and send them to your Backbase support team. Backbase sets them in values.yaml. These values are environment-specific, so they have no default.
The connectors use SingleSignOn authentication. Each connector obtains an SSOTicket through DirectSignOn, validates it through WhoIs, and reuses the resulting token until it expires. Backbase stores the certificate and credentials in a SOPS secret.

Common properties

Set these properties in values.yaml. They apply across all Fiserv DNA connectors. The following account type mapping patterns map Fiserv DNA account types to Banking OS product IDs. Configure them under values.yaml per your Fiserv DNA product configuration.
The account type mapping values are environment-specific. Contact your Fiserv DNA administrator to obtain the full list of MajorAccountTypeCode and MinorAccountTypeCode values.

gc-fiservdna-deposit-connector and gc-fiservdna-loan-connector

Set this property in deposit-v0.values.yaml and loan-v0.values.yaml.

gc-fiservdna-deposit-transaction-connector and gc-fiservdna-loan-transaction-connector

Set these properties in deposit-transaction-v0.values.yaml and loan-transaction-v0.values.yaml to map core transaction types to Banking OS transaction types.

gc-fiservdna-party-connector

Set these properties in party-v0.values.yaml. They configure the getAccountsByPartyId operation.

gc-fiservdna-party-access-entitlement-connector

The party access entitlement connector uses the common properties. It has no additional connector-specific properties.

gc-fiservdna-payment-connector

Set these properties in payment-v0.values.yaml.

SOPS secrets

The connectors use SingleSignOn authentication (DirectSignOn and WhoIs). Obtain the following credentials from Fiserv DNA. Backbase stores them, together with the SOAP client certificate, in a SOPS secret.

Supported operations

The Fiserv DNA connectors expose the Banking OS Unified API. For the operation-to-endpoint tables per domain (deposit, loan, payment, party, party access entitlement), see Overview. For the full contract, see the API playground.

Events

These connectors are synchronous and do not publish or consume events.

Error mapping

The connectors map Fiserv DNA error codes to Banking OS status codes. The following connector-specific overrides ship in the source configuration: For the full list of Banking OS status codes, see Error codes.

Dependencies

  • Fiserv DNA CoreApiService SOAP API (outbound), reachable at fiservdna.baseUrl.
  • Fiserv DNA SingleSignOn services (DirectSignOn and WhoIs) for token acquisition.
  • The shared fiservdna-connector-sdk library.
