The Temenos Transact integration includes six runtime connectors. Backbase configures each connector in its own values.yaml file. For the environment details you send to Backbase, see Get started.

Configuration properties

Values to obtain from Temenos

Obtain the following value from Temenos and send it to your Backbase support team. Backbase sets it in values.yaml. This value is environment-specific, so it has no default.
The connectors use Bearer token authentication injected at the Azure API Management (APIM) layer through a shared policy fragment, so no per-connector SOPS secret is required. Backbase configures that fragment.

Common properties

Set these properties in values.yaml. They apply across all Temenos Transact connectors. The HTTP client properties in the following sections tune the outbound connection pool and timeouts. All Temenos connectors accept the same set; the defaults differ per connector as noted.

gc-temenos-party-connector

Set these properties in party-v0.values.yaml.

gc-temenos-deposit-connector

Set these properties in deposit-v0.values.yaml.
The product.line.term-deposit value determines how the connector routes a create deposit request. When the product’s Temenos product line matches this value, the connector calls the term deposit endpoint (/holdings/deposits/termDeposits); other product types go to /holdings/accounts. The same routing applies to the close deposit operation.

gc-temenos-deposit-transaction-connector

Set these properties in deposit-transaction-v0.values.yaml.

gc-temenos-loan-connector

Set these properties in loan-v0.values.yaml.

gc-temenos-loan-transaction-connector

Set these properties in loan-transaction-v0.values.yaml. The connector reads settled bills from the Temenos arrangement bills enquiry and maps them to the Banking OS loan transaction contract.

gc-temenos-product-matching-connector

Set these properties in product-matching-v0.values.yaml.
The Temenos deposit simulation runs a full synchronous arrangement lifecycle and routinely takes more than 10 seconds. Set the request, response, and socket timeouts to 90 seconds (as shown) to avoid premature timeouts. Keep the connect timeout short.

Supported operations

The Temenos Transact connectors expose the Banking OS Unified API. For the operation-to-endpoint tables per domain (deposit, deposit transactions, loan, loan transactions, party, product matching), see Overview. For the full contract, see the API playground.

Events

These connectors are synchronous and do not publish or consume events.

Error mapping

The connectors map Temenos error codes to Banking OS status codes. For the full list, see Error codes. The following table lists connector-specific error behavior.

Dependencies

  • Temenos Transact REST API (outbound), reachable at temenos.base.url.
  • APIM for Bearer token injection and rate limiting.
  • temenos-connector-sdk (shared HTTP configuration and Temenos error code mapping).
