Connector Studio troubleshooting

The following table lists common Connector Studio problems and how to resolve them.

Problem	What to do
An upload stops, or a specification shows the Error status	Check that the file is a valid OpenAPI 3.x or Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file, then upload it again.
You can’t create a project	Confirm that the responder has indexed specifications on the API Specs page.
You see no upload action	Ask your Grand Central administrator for upload permission. See Connector Studio permissions.
The AI suggestions are empty	Set the target API type, REST or SOAP, on the project.
You see the wrong organization after you sign in	Use the organization switcher, or sign in to the correct installation. See Work across installations.
MCP authentication fails	Generate a new token on the MCP Setup page, and confirm that your configuration sends the `X-Installation` header. See Connect from your IDE with MCP.
A transformation preview is empty	Approve the parent operation and its property mappings. See Transformations and generated code.
